Roger Bacon is proud to announce that yet another group of young writers have earned the opportunity to become published writers!

Sophomores Sophia Schumacher and Maggie MCCormick were selected for the Young Writer's "Trapped" creative writing contest. Sophia and Maggie, alongside freshmen Auggie Mandeville, Caroline Coleman, and Maria Ibarra were selected for the Young Writer's "Fright Club - Creepy Tales" creative writing contest. This will be the 3^rd time being published for Sophomore's Sophia and Maggie!

English Department Chair Bridget Douglas said, "I couldn’t be more proud of these talented young women for showcasing their incredible writing skills. Being published as a high school student is an outstanding achievement that reflects their dedication and creativity. This accomplishment also highlights the empowering and rigorous academic environment we foster here at Roger Bacon."
