- Spartans head out West to meet with Alumni

Over Easter break, Brandon Spaeth '11 (Director of Advancement) and Tom Burke '69 (President Emeritus) traveled West to California for a week to visit alumni! During this time, we had 10 students in California on our inaugural San Juan Bautista Pilgrimage.
April 10th & 11th was spent in San Diego. April 12th was a travel day with a stop outside Los Angeles. April 13th was spent in San Jose & San Francisco. April 15th was in Palo Alto.

Our first social was held at Ballast Point in San Diego! John Maringer '49 and his daughter Maureen joined.
Tom and Brandon met with Bill Woerman '68 for lunch at Hob Nob Restaurant. Bill then gave a personal tour of the USS Midway
A great turnout at our Tuesday night social at Stone Brewing Bistro & Garden! We had three alumni join us from three different decades.
Wednesday served as a travel day for Brandon and Tom as they drove from San Diego up north to San Jose. Melissa Laugle '03 joined for lunch at the Original Fish Company in Los Alamitos.
Tom Denterlein '68 joined our students for mass at Mission Dolores in San Francisco on Thursday morning.
Jeff '60 and Marlene Kalb '62 welcomed Brandon and Tom over for brunch.
Meeting with Dr. Thomas J. Fogarty '52 at Fogarty Innovation. We were joined with CEO, Andrew Cleeland, as well. We will be working with Fogarty Innovation in the near future for opportunities for our students to go out and spend time at Fogarty Innovation.
Brandon and Tom met up with our California pilgrims on Thursday night for dinner at The Beach Chalet in San Francisco. Steve Bellman '78 joined and was able to meet with current Spartans.
After breakfast with Tim Coogan '79, we toured Stanford University where we ran into Ed Franchi '82!
The last alumni social was held at MacArthur Park. Tom Denterlein ‘68 and Jim ’74 & Pat Koren ‘74 OLA joined Brandon and Tom to cap off their trip out West!
