Roger Bacon Senior Earns Prestigious Scholarship to Attend U.C.

Congratulations to senior Andrew Lewis for earning the Darwin T. Turner scholarship to attend the University of Cincinnati.

One of the University of Cincinnati’s most prestigious scholarships, this award recognizes outstanding academic achievement and commitment to diversity for an incoming student.

The award was established in 1976 to honor Darwin T. Turner, as African-American student, who at the age of 16, became the youngest person to graduate from the University of Cincinnati.

Andrew joins his older sister, Alex Lewis class of 2021, as recipients of this distinguished award.
He will also join her on the U.C. campus this fall where he will study Criminal Justice.
