Roger Bacon used part of their Catholic Schools Week celebration to collect much needed items for the St. Vincent de Paul Becky and Ted Catino Choice Food Pantry located in Cincinnati's West End.
Each of our "flex rooms" competed against each other to see who could bring in the greatest number of items, from personal care items to cleaning supplies. The winning flex room from each grade level would earn the grand prize - getting to "silly string" Roger Bacon's vice-principal and Dean of Discipline, Mr. Paul Zlatic.
During a pep rally for our basketball team on Thursday, March 10th, students gathered in the Fogarty Center to watch as students from the winning rooms took joy in letting Mr. Zlatic have it.
In total, Roger Bacon students collected eight industrial sized items to be donated to the food pantry.
