November 26, 2024 Declared "Roger Bacon Girls Volleyball Day" in St. Bernard

On November 26, the Girls Volleyball State Champions were surprised and honored by the Mayor of St. Bernard, John Stuchell, with a special announcement.

Given their amazing accomplishment, the Mayor declared that November 26, 2024, would officially be known as Roger Bacon Girls Volleyball Day in St. Bernard with his mayoral proclamation.

This is not only because of their championship win, but because of types of students they are. Mayor Stuchell was proud to announce that as a team, the girls hold an average GPA of 3.98! His proclamation also states that the team upheld the high standards of Roger Bacon High School and demonstrated the Franciscan values of humility, discipline, gratitude, and joy - proving that they are some of the many prime examples of the student athletes that Roger Bacon produces!
