Junior Kayla Kilgore earns special recognition from National College Board

Congratulations to Roger Bacon junior Kayla Kilgore for earning special recognition from the 2023 College Board.

Kayla was awarded the College Board's National African American Recognition Award. This recognition is reserved for junior African American students that have at least a 3.5 GPA, and have taken the PSAT 10 in the spring of 2022, scoring in the top 10% in the state of residence, or at least two distinct AP exams in the 8th, 9th or 10th grade.

Approximately 72,000 students nationwide earn this distinction each year.
