Roger Bacon High School’s Drama Guild, in partnership with the Milford High School Drama Department, is proud to announce that a select group of students has been invited to perform at the world-renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland in August 2025.
The students will showcase their original production, "1:40 at Vines Way," as part of the American High School Theatre Festival, a prestigious program that highlights outstanding student talent from across the United States. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity allows the students to bring their creativity to an international stage, performing alongside artists and theatre groups from all over the world.
The collaborative production is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and innovation of the students and directors from both schools. Preparation for the journey is already underway, with rehearsals, fundraising efforts, and community outreach scheduled in the months ahead.
“We are incredibly proud of our students and thrilled for them to have this incredible opportunity,” said Roger Bacon Theater Director, Kate Stuard-Neal. “To perform an original piece at the largest performing arts festival in the world is truly a dream come true.”
Stay tuned for more updates as these talented performers prepare to take the stage in Edinburgh!
As a detective inspects a murder scene, each object he touches comes to life. A tarnished locket speaks in whispers of long-lost love. A delicate teacup chatters nervously about an argument overheard over steaming tea. A ballerina in a music box dances to a haunting melody as it recalls an ominous visitor. Each object, bound by its past and the hands that have held it, offers fragments of a larger mystery. With time running out, our detective must determine which object holds the final, damning clue – before the murderer strikes again.
