Wyoming Recreation Department

Position Summary

The Wyoming Recreation Department is seeking energetic, outgoing individuals as seasonal Summer Camp Counselors to assist with the coordination and daily operation of the summer day camp program for youth ages 5-12 located at the Wyoming Recreation Center, 9940 Springfield Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45215. Wyoming Summer Camp runs Monday thru Friday, 7 am-5:30 pm, June 2 thru August 12. Summer Camp Counselors supervise and lead campers in a variety of activities such as sports, crafts, games, outdoor activities, swimming, and off-site field trips.

Requirements

• Minimum of 16 years old to apply, or 15 years old with at least one year of Jr. Camp Counselor experience with Wyoming Summer Camp may apply.
• Willingness to have personal engagement and interaction with campers.
• Oral interview, drug screen, and background investigation must be passed by successful candidate.

Current Salary and Fringe Benefits

• Hourly Pay Rate $11.25-$16.00 depending on skills and experience.
