Jake Blaut

Jake recently graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. double major in Economics and Political Science, which he accomplished in just three years. Jake credits the AP course-load and instruction in the Assisi Scholars Program for the excellent preparation.

"My time at Roger Bacon pushed me to develop better study habits and attention to detail necessary to pursue my dreams in higher education while significantly reducing my student debt. Not only did the program challenge me academically, but it provided me an opportunity to create amazing friendships with my fellow Assisi Scholars that will last for the rest of my life. I would truly not be where I am today if not for the rigorous course-load and the familial environment Roger Bacon provides in its Assisi Scholar program," says Jake.

Jake continues to follow his dreams. He served on the campaign trail for President Joe Biden in 2020, and recently moving to Washington D.C., taking a position with the U.S. Department of Education working in the Office of Legislation and Congressional Affairs (OLCA)..
