Melonie Duncan (MS, A.T.,C.) is the 2009-2010 Roger Bacon Athletic Trainer. She has been with TriHealth and Roger Bacon since 2000.
Melonie holds a BS in Health Promotion and Education with an emphasis in Athletic Training from the University of Cincinnati and an MS in Biomechanics from the University of Toledo.
She is also an Approved Clinical Instructor (ACI) for U.C., and is a Certified Red Cross Instructor of Sports Safety and CPR.

John J. Brannan M.D. Physiatrist serves as the Team Physician for Roger Bacon High School. Dr. Brannan was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where he attended St. Xavier High School, University of Cincinnati, and the Medical College of Ohio – Toledo. Dr. Brannan completed his PostGraduate Residency Training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from Rusk Rehabilitation Center, University of Missouri in 1995.
He has special interests in clinical spine medicine, sports medicine, rehabilitation, and electrodiagnosis. Physiatry is a medical specialty that involves diagnosing and treating orthopaedic and neurological disorders. Physiatrists are involved with every phase of a patient’s orthopaedic illness from onset to recovery.
Dr. Brannan is also one of the first physicians in Cincinnati to utilize ImPACT, a research-based software tool designed to assist sports medicine clinicians to evaluate recovery following concussion, where he is the Director of the Beacon Orthopaedic Saturday Morning Head, Neck, and Spine Injury Clinic.
